Northern League Presentation Night
After a traumatic week in which we, Sunderland Nissan FC, took the decision to resign from the sNL it was pleasing to hear the reaction of the true gentlemen of this famous league. The comments from everyone associated with the Clubs and the League committee were very much appreciated.
It was also a revealed that one of our players was awarded the player of the year. Brian Rowe had an outstanding season and has been a great servant to football where ever he has played and I for one was very proud and privileged tpo have worked with him last season.
The football club whould like to thank all the players both past and present who have played their part in their 21 year history.
In signing off this final news item I would like to thank the supporters of Sunderland Nissan FC, who, although not many, showed great dedication to the club and the team and I hope that they enjoyed the journey. Sadly it is over for the time being but who knows what the future might bring. Certainly the friendship will never die.
