A typical midweek game where neither team were at the races and the referee got no help from his linesman.
Nissan went ahead through forward Gavin Cogdon with a strike from the edge of the box after 30 minutes. Spenny were then to see their night get worse after Nissan's Shaun Ross was brought down while running clean through on goal leaving the referee to show the red.
A solo effort from former Motorman Adam Johnson gave Spenny fans something to cheer about and with only ten men Spenny even started to think they had a chance.
Stern words at half time should have seen Nissan take all three points but it wasn't to be, even shouting from Mr Keegan in the stands couldn't give Nissan the edge.
1-1 a poor night and Nissan will have to do better.
