Report:
The Motormen's aspirations received a massive knock with this home defeat. Chris Renshaw opened the scoring early in the first half with a low drive which gave Newton no chance. A lengthy delay for a serious ankle injury to Tow Law defender Gowland was followed by the bizarre spectacle of Richard Hodgson's pass back to Jack Norton in the Lawyers goal ended up in the net. Sportingly, Nissan allowed Alex Benjamin to go unchallenged up field to score. The second half saw Tow Law Town pressing home their advantage and deservedly went 3 - 1 up when Alex Benjamin added to his tally. Nissan were reduced to ten men when a late challenge by Pearson was severely dealt with by the referee. Benjamin completed his hat trick with 5 minutes to go.
