Report:
Another unconvincing display by Nissan, but a far from bottom of the table display by Northallerton Town. The windy conditions did little to enhance this game as a spectacle. Northallerton took the lead when Nissan failed to clear the ball and Andy Allen was on hand to beat Newton. Ten minutes later Nissan were level when Tait ran onto a through ball and despatched it into the bottom corner. The start of the second half saw Nissan almost camped in the Northallerton half, Leon Ryan headed against the bar and a screamer from Stewart went narrowly wide before before Wells ghosting in at the far post guided the ball home to make it 2 - 1. Nissan seemed to think that they had done enough and allowed Northallerton back into the game. With 10 minutes remaining dangerman Allen equalised with a rasping shot from 20 yards. With minutes remaining Northallerton could have won it when a shot from allen hit the bar the rebound fell to Hinton who mistimed his volley.

"Defensively poor, we can not continue to give the ball away in our own half and not expect to get punished. If you score 2 goals away from home against a bottom three team you expect as a supporter to be coing away with 3 points. We were luck to come away with one."
